Entry Document Checklist

- Arrival declaration form (distributed on the plane or at the port)
- Accommodation proof (hotel booking confirmation)
- Return/onward flight ticket
Entry Process
After landing: health inspection (temperature check) → immigration (passport + visa check, fingerprints, photo) → baggage claim → customs declaration (declare if carrying over ¥20,000 or equivalent in foreign currency). Total time ~30–60 minutes; major hub airports may take longer during peak hours.
